Your appointments are very important to the Tune Up Massage Works team. They are reserved especially for you. We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary. Therefore, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments.
Please understand that when you forget, cancel, or change your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our wait list miss the opportunity to receive services.
Any appointment missed, late canceled, or changed without 24-hour notice will result in a charge equal to 100% of the reserved service amount. The appointment may be taken off of a membership/package or charged individually. If you feel as though you may not make your appointment, there is the option to treat a friend or family member to your appointment by purchasing an e-Gift Card using the link above. They may take your spot so you don't lose out.
At any time you may manage your appointments from our website by clicking Manage Appointments (located under BOOK NOW). Outside of 24-hours of your scheduled appointment you may change or cancel an appointment and view past appointments.
As a courtesy, your appointments are confirmed electronically the day before your scheduled appointment by email and/or text messaging from our online appointment scheduling software because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked weeks or even months ago. From this confirmation email, you have the option of the following without a charge outside of 24-hours of your appointment:
reschedule/change/modify your appointment from the link provided in the email;
respond back by email with any changes or concerns;
call our office number which is provided in the email;
text (707) 731-3908 with your full name and your schedule adjustments
In addition, a link to automatically upload the appointment to your calendar is provided on every electronic confirmation. If you have not received an email confirmation make sure your email isn’t filtering us. Some email providers filter messages based on content, subject line, or the sender's address and may put your email into a bulk or junk mail folder.
Please ensure Tune Up Massage Works <firstname.lastname@example.org> is on your "approved sender" list to ensure you don’t miss out on confirmation emails. This particular address only sends out confirmations. You will not receive any promotional emails from this address.
Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times in order to prevent any missed appointments which result in a cancellation fee. Not receiving an electronic notification of your appointments from us the day before is not sufficient reason to miss an appointment. Arriving late for a service will require shortening the length of the treatment in an effort to stay on schedule for following appointments.
Emergency absences will be considered on an individual basis. You may request not to be charged for the late/ cancelled session in writing within 7 days if you feel such action is warranted. We will make the decision to honor your request on a case-by-case basis and will respond back to you in writing within 7 days. The 24-hour cancellation policy gives us time to inform our wait list clients of any availability, as well as keeping our staff schedules filled, thus better serving everyone.
