• Massage therapy is provided for stress reduction, relaxation, relief from muscular tension, and improvement of circulation, improvement of range of motion and energy flow.
  • All services are entirely therapeutic and non-sexual in nature.
  • Services offered are not a substitute for medical care. Therapists/Practitioners are not qualified to perform spinal or skeletal adjustments, diagnose, prescribe, or treat physical or mental illness.  
  • Any client under 18 years old is required to have a parent/guardian present for the duration of the treatment.
  • All expectant mothers must at least be in their second trimester to receive our Prenatal services.
  • For a Postnatal massage, those who have had a C-Section must wait 6 weeks following the birth and provide us with a signed release from their Doctor.


 














Client Responsibilities


  • Clients may not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol when present. Therapists/practitioners will not be able to offer services to anyone under the influence.
  • Please no strong perfumes/scents and arrive having maintained good personal hygiene.
  • Please enter quietly as a session may be in progress.
  • Please silence all mobile devices.  If a call must be taken/made please do so in the corridor.
  • Please fill out the Intake Form (HIPAA compliant) that is emailed upon first booking to the best of your ability. Informing the therapist/practitioner of all known medical conditions, injuries, current medications and any known contraindications is essential to your well being and getting the most out of your treatment.
  • Notify the therapist of any changes in health and medical condition. Clients may ask to update their intake form at any time. 
  • Control of pressure is up to the client.  At any time, inform the therapist/practitioner of any pain or discomfort during the session so that pressure may be adjusted to a comfortable level.
  • Any sexually implicit behavior initiated by a client will result in the immediate termination of the session and full payment is required/no refund will be given. Furthermore, we will no longer allow the client to receive services here at TUMW. 




Booking Policies


  • We require a credit card to reserve an appointment. There are no pre-authorization charges.  It's only used to hold the appointment.
  • Upon arrival, clients may choose to pay with any of the following forms of payment: cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay and Android Pay. We also accept Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account Cards (HSA).  If you have a Medical Reimbursement Account, we are happy to provide you with an invoice.
  • If paying with a credit/debit card or account card, the card must match your ID.
  • Clients may choose to pay before the session begins or after.

 

We have a 24 Hour Cancellation Policy.

Full payment is required for the following conditions:

Less than 24-hour notification to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

No-show or missed appointments.

Late arrivals - arriving late for a service will require shortening the length of the 

treatment in an effort to stay on schedule for following appointments.
